10 WOW Products from the National Hardware Show 2019

The National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV happens every May which is always a highlight on the Baysource Global Calendar. Not only is it a great way to see new products that consumers can’t wait to get their hands on, but also an opportunity to meet the inventors who are re-defining the retail landscape.

NHS 2019 continues to expand the exhibitors list as retailers strive to become more of a one-stop shop beyond just  Hardware & Tools, Homewares, Plumbing, Electrical & Tailgate, Backyard & BBQ, Lawn Garden & Outdoor Living. Some of the products you see at the show are so new and cutting-edge that they have not yet been mass-produced. The Inventors’ Spotlight section provides the chance for hopeful product pioneers to showcase their inventions to retail buyers and category managers in order to get pre-orders and get their product to market.

Let’s take a look at some of the products that we saw at the tradeshow that really wowed us:

1. Instant Grill by Casus Grill

This instant Biodegradable Grill has already hit the market and is at a whopping low price point of $21.90 on Amazon. This product is made entirely out of natural materials including recycled cardboard and bamboo. It heats up in 5 minutes and can work with any liquid lighter fluid. Now you can grill whenever or wherever the mood strikes!

2. The Wanderr by OME Gear

The Wanderr is the only 5-in-1 chair that can meet all of your camping and outdoor activity needs. It features a these different positions: cart, folded, high chair, low chair, lounger, and camping cot. It collapses down making it the perfect thing for your camping trips or beach days.

3. Leveling Wedge

Have you ever been at a restaurant with a wobbly table? Well, they clearly weren’t using the Leveling Wedge. This compact gadget will outperform any single shim and wedges with no stacking needed. It is patented with its adjustable interlocking leveling system. The Leveling Wedge will work on any surface so be sure to be on the lookout for it in the aisles of Home Deport soon!

4. HingeStand

The HingeStand solves the long list of problems faced when painting doors. Let’s face it, not all dollies are created equally. The All-Terrain Moving Cart by Rhino Cart will work across a wide breadth of surfaces to help you tackle all of your moving needs. 6. Carta By Plott

This innovative product brought to you by Plott will transform your outdoor DIY projects. Using digital mapping, the Carta collects data by simply walking a space and collecting data and measurements to help you plan your projects. This may have been one of the most smart-tech products we saw at the National Hardware Show and we can’t wait to use it for our next backyard project.

7. Tertill by Franklin Robotics

The Tertill is a solar-powered and chemical-free weeder that will keep your flower or vegetable gardens in tip-top shape. It also connects to an app where you can monitor and track its progress. Created by the same inventor as the successful Roomba iRobot, this is the equivalent for the outdoors. One of the best parts is that it is waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about the Tertill working in the rain. Watch the video to see the Tertill in action:

8. Alternative Living Spaces

The “tiny homes” trend isn’t going anywhere. There were multiple exhibitors at this year’s National Hardware Show that are providing high-quality micro-living spaces for people who want to live a more simple life. One that stood out was Alternative Living Spaces, which is bringing elevated design trends into the tiny homes ecosystem. Founded on the idea that luxury container houses can have the highest quality design, materials, and craftsmanship, this company will be attracting a whole new demographic to tiny homes.

9. WOW-SOUND Speaker Float

WOW Sound has made a name for itself by selling its products via Amazon to provide fun and durable outdoor speakers. They specialize in waterproof, shockproof and 360-degree sound. Now you can take your speaker floating with you in whatever body of water you choose! Whether it is a pool, lake, river, or ocean never be without your favorite music.

10. Wateraft by PolarBear Products

The Wateraft will transform your summers for the better. It is a product that uses the same material used in lifejackets to create a floating raft which kids can play safely all while having tons of fun. The material comes in a variety of products like rafts and even floaties, making it versatile for all of your different needs.
